Dr. Rajiv Kumar Verma is an Associate Professor in the Department of History, Satyawati College Evening, Delhi University since 1988. His father, Late Sri Lalan Kumar Verma was a lawyer and his mother Prof. Shefalika Verma is a Sahitya Akademi Awardee. He completed his graduation and post graduation from Hindu College followed by an M.Phil.from Delhi University. He was awarded Ph.D.from Patna University and has also done a short term Course in Travel Management from Delhi University. An erudite scholar, he was awarded the National Merit Scholarship for securing the first position in his graduation. He was also conferred with Ganpat Rai Gopal Devi Scholarship in BA [Hons.], ICHR Research Grant in M.Phil and the UGC/ NET Fellowship in 1987. He has taught Ancient Indian History, The Rise of the Modern West, History of China & Japan, Environmental Issues in India, Social Enquiry at graduation level and has also taught post graduate students in Delhi University. He has supervised the works of more than 10 Ph.D scholars from Dept. of Buddhist Studies, Delhi University and 16 M.Phil. scholars from Madurai Kamraj University and Algappa University, Tamil Nadu. He has many books and chapters in noted books to his credit along with more than 35 published articles in National and International Journals. Dr Verma has presented more than 35 research papers at National and International Seminars and has organized many National and International Seminars as Academic Director. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of a UGC listed International E-Journal. He is the Life Member of Indian History Congress; Indian Studies for Buddhist Studies; Mithilangan. As an Observer, RGSC, Bihar, 2017, he visited Patna and addressed the RGSC Members on the Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sri Rajiv Gandhi. He served as the Academic Director, International Seminar on Gender Sensitization, Equality & Women Empowerment: Continuity & Change, organized by RGSC, Delhi on 29th January 2018. He is an Elected Member, Delhi University Academic Council, Committee on Academic Matters & Committee on Arts Faculty, New Course Committee of Delhi University 2006 to 2010. He is also an Elected Executive Member of Delhi University Teachers’ Association [DUTA], Secretary, Staff Council, President, Staff Association, Convener of various Committees on several occasions. Apart from his academic contributions, he has been the Programme Officer NSS, and Member of several Committees such as Admission, Time Table, Canteen, Auditorium, Library Expansion, Staff Room Renovation, Academic Supervisory, Monitoring, Moderation, 6th & 7th Pay Recommendation, Infrastructure, Chairperson, Grievance Cell relating to Student’s Union election, Member, DRC and the Project Officer started Community Radio. As Coordinator, Eco-Club organized many Field visits.

Dr Jnanendra Narayan Singh is at present Librarian of Dyal Singh Evening College, University of Delhi Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003.He is Managing Editor of Library Herald (International Journal of Library & Information Science which is included in the journals list of UGC ) since 2011. He has presented many papers at national and international conferences, published many articles in reputed journals. He did schooling at Rakiya (Saharsa), Nath Nagar (Bhagalpur), Bihar Sharif (Nalanda), Matriculation from B M P 5 High School, Camp Jail (Patna), Bihar. BLIS first class third position and MLIS first class fourth position in the University of Delhi, M. Phil. in LIS with First Class. Ph.D. from IGNOU. Specialized in Copyright, RTI, Roster and Automation of Libraries.
He was the President of Delhi University Library Science Students’ Association in 1999-2000. He was elected to Academic Council of Delhi University, the highest body of academic matters for 2010-12 from Indian National Teachers Congress (INTEC ) panel. Secretary, Delhi Library Association (DLA) from 2011-13, General Secretary of DLA from 2013-16. Presently he is Treasurer of DLA since 2016, Secretary of Dyal Singh Evening College Teachers’ Association from 2014 to till date. Her graduation is from Patna Women’s College, Patna University and post graduation is from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. Subsequently she did an M.Phil from Delhi University and her Ph.D from Patna University. She has taught Ancient Indian History, The Rise of the Modern West, Social Formation, Environmental Issues in India, Human Rights & Gender Studies, Cultures in Indian Sub-continent to graduate students. She has supervised two M.Phil scholars and has published books and chapters in famous books. She has more than 10 published articles in National and International Journals and more than 15 Paper Presentations at National and International Seminars. She is a Member, Editorial Board of a UGC listed International E-Journal and a Life Member of Indian History Congress; Indian Studies for Buddhist Studies. She has participated in several Workshops, National and International Conferences. Dr Verma has been a Resource person at DRDO and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Dr Dinesh Kumar Arya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry in the Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi A Ph.D from the University of Rajasthan, his areas of interest and research are Heterocyclic Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry. Dr Arya has contributed widely to academics and as an active member of various committees of his college. He had represented his college on the ‘Gyanodaya Educational Train Journey’ from 11th March to 19th March 2014. He has participated and presented research papers at national and international symposia and conferences and also got them published.
